Guests eagerly awaited at the entrance to the new Shake Shack for its November 4th grand opening party in Houston’s Galleria. What started as a hotdog stand in Madison Square Park in Manhattan, NY has become the trendiest, more delicious, hamburger/shake restaurant around. This modern day “roadside” burger stand is known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers and flat-top vienna beef dogs (no added hormones and no antibiotics), 100% all-natural cage-free chicken (no antibiotics), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer, wine and more.
At a time when many casual-dining restaurants are tightening the reins on growth, Shake Shack is moving full steam ahead. The chain which boasts restaurants across the country and internationally has plans for continued expansion in 2017.
Among other architectural details, the restaurant features a living moss wall, tabletops made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes, chairs from sustainable materials, and booths using lumber certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council.
